    Surprisingly practical!

    I get through a lot of cycle shoe covers as I wear them on my MTB with spiky flat pedals that tend to wear the underneath. In muddy (MTB) conditions I wash them after every ride so zips and Velcro’s disintegrate, normally these things are almost disposable. The appeal of these is that they are so easy to put on, no snagging zips and Velcro is out of the way and only where needed ! There is very little under the foot to interfere with flat pedals so they should last a little longer. They keep mud and wet off and suspect most of the internal moisture comes from sweat as they are probably not that breathable. Obviously they are not thermal but a good “dirt” barrier. The photo attached is after 3 washes - the pattern rubs off on contact areas but on a MTB that doesn’t matter. I bought another pair in another colour for my road clip in pedals and I think they will survive better.

    Great bit of kit

    I bought the tattoo version of these shoe covers after my first pair of the Friday style. They get very favourable comments, whenever I'm wearing them. I get terribly cold feet over winter (and, at the moment, throughout our latest UK spring!), so wanted a windproof layer to go over my boots. They're super easy to put on, being surprisingly stretchy, and keep my boots clean from road spray. Highly recommended!
